Alongside solid bone, the limb must keep a straight mechanical axis, the line of load through the hip, knee, and ankle should stay correct, not drift into a bow or angle during lengthening. If the bone is solid and the axis is straight, the height gain is standing on a sound foundation. If it is not, the external photo means little.
In gait: walking normally again
